We spent Thanksgiving of 2021 in Galveston. Honestly it was so nice. The crowds were a bit lower, and it was overall really great to just slow down, relax, and enjoy the day. We stayed down in Galveston for the whole weekend, so the day before Thanksgiving we had decided to take a huge hike down the beach to a hotel that's known for being haunted: The Grand Galvez. I would love to stay there someday! We walked down the beach and took in all the sights along the way. On this trip, we visited the small gallery in the lower level under the spa (the spa is supposed to be the most haunted location in the hotel) showcasing some of the history of the hotel. In a large plexiglass case was a model of a big ship. The ship was called the "Granada" and it was a passenger cargo ship launched in 1925.

Surprise, surprise.... I really love the reflections!
