Ok, so I'm not a professional cake decorator or anything, but I have done the occasional cake decorating project for family birthdays. One of the best cakes that I have ever made was one that I made several years ago. It was a Curious George cake that was a banana cake. In case you're wondering, banana is one of the yummiest flavors of cake that I have ever made. I made it from scratch, and it was like banana bread but no where near as dense; it was light and fluffy. Cream cheese frosting paired perfectly with the banana flavor. I made George, the yellow hat, the bananas, and the palm tree leaves out of marshmallow fondant that I made. I was really proud of the cake that I made.
