Starting Point

Starting back in 2016 I started reading Philippa Gregory's Plantagenet and Tudor novels. The series is made up of fifteen books. I had never read any series of books that was made up of more than four books before. So this was quite the goal.
What originally inspired me to read these books is the movie, The Other Boleyn Girl. So, back in about 2013ish, I read The Other Boleyn Girl. I was absolutely blown away with how good it is. I have always been an avid reader, but historical fiction wasn't a genre that I was particularly drawn to. I never thought that I would love it as much as I did. There was so much drama, so many twists and turns. Every page was more exciting than the last. When I first started reading it, I really didn't know that The Other Boleyn Girl was part of a series. However, I did quickly figure that out, and it inspired me to read Philippa's other novels. I mean, if The Other Boleyn Girl was this good, than the other ones have to be excellent as well. They did not disappoint, and I would highly recommend them all.
Here is a picture that I took from when I was reading The Other Boleyn Girl for the second time. I was reading outside and found this lavender flower.
