Wetlands

Last December we visited this outdoor nature museum and wildlife sanctuary. It is quite expansive and the museum includes many nature trails which are an instant throw back to my girl scouting days (made it all the way to being a senior girl scout) in Colorado where I did a lot of camping and hiking. It was extremely peaceful and picturesque. I had been to this museum before, but I have never ventured down to the wetlands before. I loved being in the stillness and the quiet of nature.
I have been to this nature museum before, and there's so much to explore, I have never been down to the wetlands before. It was quite a hike down there, but the views were well worth it. Over the large body of water there was a bridge walkway that went across the whole thing. I'm not gonna lie, it was a tiny bet unnerving. But hey, I did it, and I got some really nice pictures and memories along the way. Shortly before we had made the trip to the museum, I had seen 'Where the Crawdads Sing' on Netflix. The still water and the reflections of the trees reminded me of the movie.
